Palseal™ CB is our unique brand of biodegradable film, specifically engineered to rapidly decompose in a garbage composter.
Waste disposal bags made from Palseal™ CB film close the recycling loop by making the composting of commercial kitchen waste a reality.
At Kande Kande (a restaurant in Kobe), kitchen waste is discarded in bags made from Palseal™ CB film and then thrown into the garbage composter, bag and all. Palseal™ CB offers a sanitary solution to today’s waste disposal problems.

Kitchen waste is composted at the Hyogo Rakuno Life Center operated by Hyogo Midori Kosha. The Center uses the compost to grow vegetables which are then harvested and used for the ingredients that go into the meals prepared at the Center’s restaurant, Kande Kande.
Palseal™ CB is closing the loop as it makes recycling food waste easier than ever.
| 1.Hygienic | More sanitary and less odorous than PE kitchen garbage bags. |
| 2.Convenient | Bag and all can be disposed of in a composter. |
| 3.Degrades quickly |
Since the decomposition process begins the second the bag goes into the composter, it doesn’t hinder the normal composting process. |
| 4.Effective waste recycling |
The fermentation process turns waste into fertile compost. Waste is usually removed from the composter once a month or once every 2 months after the fermentation process turns it into fertile compost. |

An initiative begun at our Ibaraki Factory (in Koga City) last December to transform the facility into an eco-friendly, community-based campus, puts waste from our cafeteria in Palseal™ CB bags and turns it into compost to be used by local farmers.
Cabbage seedlings planted in the beginning of April were harvested at the end of June. The harvested cabbage was then cooked in our cafeteria and served to the employees.
